Welcome to ASK Transit

The ASK Transit Program is a collaborative initiative by the Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) in partnership with the Washington State Transportation Association (WSTA). It serves as a knowledge-sharing tool for Member agencies to exchange expertise and practical solutions.

ASK Transit leverages collective experience, reduces duplicate effort, and provides practical, peer-driven solutions to common transit challenges.

How it works:

  • Submit a question: Participating agencies post questions through the WSTIP website.
  • Gather Responses: Each question is distributed to a designated group of respondents from participating agencies. The goal is to collect at least 15 responses for every ASK.
  • Compile and share: Once responses are gathered, WSTIP compiles them - along with any attachments - into a comprehensive PDF report.
  • Access the Library: The report is added to the ASK Library for future reference. A copy is sent to the original requester and anyone else who requests it.
