Investigations Training

Conducting internal investigations is a learned skill.  In this three-hour online training, you will learn:

  • How formal should the investigation be?
  • Are you the right person to serve as investigator for this matter?
  • What are the essential steps of the investigation process, and what is required at each step?
  • How to effectively interview witnesses?
  • What are the protections that government and represented employees have?
  • How to assess who is telling the truth?
  • How to draft a comprehensive report?
  • What is the process once the investigation is completed?

There will be ample time for questions.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

HR professionals and other transit employer representatives who may be called upon to handle an internal investigation.
