On behalf of our President and myself and to be supportive of efforts to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to cancel the in-person portion of our Executive Committee and Board meetings scheduled for later this month in Leavenworth and conduct our governance meetings remotely.
Because most people find remote meetings difficult, we will reduce the agendas to the absolute must-haves so you as Board members can stay engaged and take action. We will use our WebEx meeting software to communicate with all of you and run our meetings.
As a staff, we are also prepared to make adjustments to our scheduled training events and other meetings to support the practice of social distancing. WSTIP very recently drilled its own business continuity plan and I want to assure you that WSTIP will be able to maintain operations including providing the many resources you value and rely on (like our claims processing, risk management advice, and driver record monitoring). Our staff is prepared to work remotely if we need to close our office.
Even though this might not be exactly business as usual, the good news is I am confident in WSTIP’s ability to provide you the service you have come to know and respect.
Let me know what questions you might have,
