The conference, now in its 28th year, is hosted by WSDOT. The Conference is an annual gathering of professionals involved in public transportation in Washington State. Attendees include providers, planners, and advocates of transit, passenger rail, ferries, and special needs transportation.

The Public Transportation Conference hosted by the Washington State Department of Transportation is celebrating its 28 th year. We are expecting over 400 attendees including transportation planners, providers, and advocates of transit, passenger rail, ferries, and special needs transportation. This year the conference is at the Yakima Convention Center, in Yakima, Washington where the sun shines 300 days each year!

Making Changes in 2004!

We have made attendee-driven changes to the 2004 Annual Public Transportation Conference. As a result, we expect it to be our most successful year for exhibitors, ever!

This is why you should exhibit with us:

* Exhibits will be inside the Exhibit Ballroom where all catered breaks and continental breakfasts will be offered to the attendees. This will generate a steady stream of Booth traffic.

* 8x10 Booths with pipes, drapes, a table, two chairs, waste paper basket, and a sign are included in the fee.

* The fee includes one complimentary box lunch per exhibit table. Additional lunches may be purchased.

* Part of the proceeds from registration will be applied to the Exhibitors Reception to be attended by planners, advocates of transit, passenger rail, ferries, and special needs transportation attendees.

* Covered loading/unloading bay. Freight door into building and exhibit hall is 14' x 15'.

* High Speed, DSL Internet/Phone access is available throughout the entire facility for an additional fee of $75 for the entire three day conference

Prices and terms:

The fee for each booth unit is $295. Booths are 8’x10’ with pipes, drapes, table, two chairs, waste paper basket and a sign . It also includes a boxed lunch per day, coffee, and a catered reception for Exhibitors and Vendors. Exhibitors and Vendors, have the option to purchase banquet tickets ($35). Full payment by credit card for Exhibitors booth space is required with the application. We are accepting the first 75 registrants only so please get your application in early.

Assignments of Booth spaces are on a first come, first serve basis. Cancellations must be received in writing before July 1, 2004. One third of the booth cost will be refunded while the remaining funds will be forfeited as liquidated damages for cancellations received by July 1, 2004. After July 1, 2004, no refunds will be made.
