The Road to "THERE:" A Facilitated Strategic Planning Workshop
This one- day workshop is an interactive strategic process for leaders at all levels, human resource professionals, and both intact and cross-functional teams, that will show you, guide you, and teach you how to get from where you are ("Here") to where you want to be ("THERE") with mechanisms that will ensure your  team's success. 
 
Your Workshop Take-Aways: An ability to increase team synergy and buy-in ♦  A method and format for creating collaboration in team visioning and active brainstorming ♦  A road map of actionable mechanisms and accountabilities for creating objectives and strategies for success ♦   An ability to create simple timelines for reaching milestones and completions.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This class will benefit supervisors, seasoned managers, and/or virtually anyone with strategic planning responsibilities.

WORKSHOP PRESENTER

Linda Callecod, executive consultant, keynote speaker, author, and master trainer / facilitator, is president of Seraphim Consulting and Training in Federal Way Washington. She is also the Senior Organizational Development Consultant for University of Washington’s Professional & Organizational Development department in Seattle. Linda is a 14-year veteran instructor for UW Professional & Continuing Education certificate programs, for which she received UW’s Teaching Excellence Award in business and management as an outstanding instructor in Human Resource Management. Prior to 2009, she was a consultant and partner with the Effectiveness Institute and divisional vice president of training and diversity at The Bon Marché/Macy’s.

Linda has over 20 years’ experience developing leaders and teams across industries and at all levels of an organization. Her specialty is balancing the

people side of leadership (Emotional Intelligence) with the organizational side of business (strategic management), and providing individuals with practical tools for success.

As a talented and charismatic leader and educator herself, Linda blends a multiplicity of disciplines to assist her clients in identifying desired outcomes, and partners with them to create a road map with practical mechanisms and approaches to accomplishing individual and organizational results.

REGISTRATION AND FEES

The registration fee is $75 per person for members and $90 for non-members (see below). The registration fee includes workshop materials, coffee, water, and snacks.Lunch will be on your own.Make checks payable to the Washington State Transit Insurance Pool.

MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS

Members are determined to be employees of transportation systems providing services to the public in Washington State and members of the partner organizations that make up the Coalition. The partners are: Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP), Washington State Transit Association (WSTA), Community Transportation Association of the Northwest (CTA-NW) and Eastern Washington University Northwest Tribal Technical Assistance Program.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

The class will be held at the WSTIP Office located at 2629 12th Court SW in Olympia, WA 98502. The workshop will begin at 8:30 am and run until 5:00 pm.Lunch will be on your own. Parking is free. CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your workshop registration without penalty up to Thursday, June 1st, 2017.
Cancellations made after 6/2/17 will be charged the full workshop fee. The Training Coalition may cancel the class if fewer than 12 people register for the course. If the Training Coalition cancels the course, participants will receive a complete refund.
