WSTIP Elects New Officers
The WSTIP Board of Directors elected a new slate of officers at their December 11, 2009, Annual Meeting.  The new officers will serve on WSTIP's Executive Committee for a one year term.  They are:  President Tom Hingson (Everett Transit), Vice President Mark Carlin (Grays Harbor Transit), and Secretary Ed McCaw (Valley Transit).  Jim Plaster (Spokane Transit) will serve as Past President. 
 
Also elected:
  • Jeff Ristau (Community Transit) - Representing large members
  • Ken Mehin (Yakima Transit) - Representing medium members
  • Chris Smith (Cubs) - Representing small members. 
  • Jamie Collier (Clallam Transit) - At Large position

Ben Foreman (Intercity Transit) also sits on the Executive Committee (ex-officio) as WSTIP's appointed treasurer.

The new Executive Committee will kick their year off with a retreat at the end of January.
