Pierce Transit employees went above and beyond to ensure a fun and successful state Roadeo.  The Pierce Transit employees who turned out to volunteer are far too numerous to name individually, but their sheer numbers speak volumes to Pierce Transit’s commitment to statewide public transportation.  Thank you to each and every one! Special appreciation goes to Bob Barrett and Mel Munsterman for their huge role in taking the lead as hosts.

Sponsors also stepped in to offer their support for the Roadeo.  The Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) served as primary financial supporter and WSTA provided continued staff support.  In-kind donations were also received: AA Party Rentals provided tables and chairs for the barbeque, Berg Equipment & Scaffolding provided bleachers for fans, and Thermo King NW/ Perfect Drive Golf & Utility provided golf carts for score runners.  Thank you to all for your support.

Lastly, heartfelt thanks go out to the members of the Roadeo Steering Committee.  These committee members are indeed champions.

Next year’s Roadeo will be held at Spokane Transit.
